Goal 1: Students worked with synonyms within Microsoft Word. They learned how to use the Thesaurus within the program. They also learned a new vocabulary word "suppress" in which we found synonyms for. Students vocabulary should be increasing as we go along throughout the semester.
Goal 2: We have used many math skills through out our Word unit and beginning of our Excel units. Students in Computer Applications II created tables, charts, and use the SUM function in Word to figure a total. Excel has many math skills that we use to determine totals.
